I am a passionate and dedicated wedding celebrant serving the beautiful regions of the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane (and in between). Becoming a Marriage Celebrant has been a truly fulfilling progression allowing me to bring warmth, professionalism, and personal connection to life’s most meaningful moments.

Born and raised in inner-suburban Brisbane, my path to becoming a celebrant began in healthcare.
I became a nurse, specialising in oncology, a role that took me across Australia, where I gained a deep appreciation for life’s fragility and the importance of cherishing every significant moment.
After getting married and raising two wonderful sons, I returned to study, completing my nursing degree, and even delving into early childhood education and law.
Throughout my life, I’ve always been drawn to the power of ritual – those sacred pauses that help us acknowledge life’s big transitions.
Whether it’s the joyous celebration of a wedding or the poignant farewell of a loved one, I believe in the importance of marking these moments with care and intention.

With over six years as a celebrant, I’ve had the honour of guiding couples and families through their most significant life events. My clients often tell me my genuine and caring nature shines through from the very first meeting.Â
I take pride in offering extensive support and guidance, ensuring that every ceremony is tailored to reflect the unique personalities and wishes of my clients.
I bring a calm, centred presence to every ceremony. My background in nursing has taught me the value of human connection – listening, understanding, and being present during life’s most exciting or vulnerable moments. Just as in nursing, being a celebrant is about creating connections and providing personalised, hands-on support that truly resonates with my clients.

a natural transition
After years of juggling study, work, and motherhood, I found myself drawn to a profession that allowed me to connect more deeply with people during their most significant life events.Â
A close friend suggested I explore becoming a celebrant, and it turned out to be the perfect fit! I completed my Cert IV in Celebrancy, and haven’t looked back.
Being a celebrant allows me to combine my love for building close relationships with my passion for celebrating life’s milestones.Â
Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, baby naming, or a farewell ceremony, I bring a blend of empathy, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
I’d love to help you bring your special event to life!
 And when I’m not officiating ceremonies
…you’ll find me enjoying some other pleasures – dancing (to the embarrassment of my adult children), catching up with old mates, spending time at the beach or the bush, and all of the above preferably done with a glass of champagne in hand.Â
I have a deep love for wildflowers, poetry, and all things confetti. And yes, I adore babies – both human and furry!
