The birth of a baby is the embodiment of a miracle so marvellous you may want to share this infinite joy with everyone you know, or with an intimate group who will play a vital role in your child’s future.
Your ceremony will be an occasion built on what is a reflection of your values and wishes for your new little individual. It can be as significant as a Naming Ceremony or as simple as a Birth Blessing, and there is no correct age or time at which to have it.
You may want to have, or incorporate, a Welcome Ceremony for a not-so-new little person, or even an older child. There is no legal aspect involved so there are no rules around what you want to do.
